Accessibility Statement

Penn Community Bank has an ongoing commitment to making our online and mobile banking products easy for all customers to use, including those with disabilities. We strive to enhance accessibility and usability of our sites, with the assistance of our vendor-partners, based on standards recommended by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0 Level AA, including Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (ARIA).

Supported by our vendor-partners, we use Internet Explorer (IE) Version 11 in conjunction with Job Access with Speech (JAWS) Version 17 as a baseline for general accessibility and screen reader testing. This means that IE 11 and JAWS 17 are supported and recommended for use as a minimum when accessing our Online Banking site from a personal computer.

Mac OS X version El Capitan 10.12 with Safari 10, and the latest version of Firefox are also supported as a baseline for general accessibility and screen reader testing. This means that El Capitan 10.12 and Safari 10 are supported and recommended for use as a minimum when accessing our Online Banking site from a Mac computer.

While other web browser and screen reader combinations may work with our Online Banking, they may not interface optimally with our Online Banking site.

Working with our vendor-partners, our mobile applications are built on platforms that have built-in accessibility tools (iOS and Android), and we apply the above accessibility standards as we enhance mobile functionality. iOS and Android have built-in accessibility tools that are supported with the following minimum operating system requirements:

  • Android Mobile Banking – Android version 4.4.2
  • iOS Mobile Banking – iOS version 8

Some customers may need more assistance than can be provided by an online banking or mobile site. For this reason, we provide auxiliary aids and services such as Penn Community Bank’s Phone Banking at 888-890-1539, electronic statements, and our Customer Care Center at 215-788-1234 during banking hours to serve our customers’ needs.
